Summer Camps Open for Registration

The Cumberland County YMCA is now accepting registrations for all camps. Sign up by May 1st to receive an early bird discount. With so many options to choose from you're sure to have fun with Portland In-Town Camp, Camp Osprey, Camp Pineland, and Otter Pond Wilderness Day Camp - where kids can be kids! Welcome to the Casco Bay YMCA

Hello and welcome to the Casco Bay branch of the Cumberland County YMCA!  We hope that you will browse through our website to see the many programs and activities that we have for you and your family. 

For your health, we have a wide range of group exercise classes to suit your interests, level, and schedule.  Classes range from low impact aerobics to triathlon training – with everything in between.  We also have a full spirit, mind and body schedule with many yoga, pilates and tai chi classes.  Classes begin for those as young as middle schoolers, and our oldest participants are in their 90s!  Our wellness center is also full of new cardio and strength training equipment. Many of these pieces are adaptive, making them accessible to all members.

For you swimmers, our eight lane pool has plenty of lap swimming opportunities, and both this pool and our warm water therapy pool are home to many water exercise classes.  We of course also offer swim lessons for more than 300 children each session (and adult swim lessons as well).  The more competitive swimmers can also find a home on our YMCA Swim Team – the Stripers. 

For families, our Prime Time program is where you want to be!  Children between the ages of 3 months and 10 years can enjoy our supervised kids gym, arts & crafts corner, and more while you take time for your own healthy activities. There are also many youth programs to choose from throughout the year – creative movement, kids yoga, youth martial arts, vacation and summer camps, and more.
