Prime Time

Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Monday through Thursday 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

At the YMCA we recognize that the time families spend together is precious and that for some families, it is becoming harder and harder to find quality time and activities. The Casco Bay YMCA is proud to provide a program that will make it easy for families to enjoy the Y together.

  • There will be three spaces your child can choose from while at the Y: The Club Room, ages 1 and up, where children can read, play house, do puzzles and more; The Kids Gym where children ages 2 and up can run, jump, climb a climbing wall and participate in games and classes; and The Art Room where children can work on structured crafts or explore different art mediums.

  • There will even be a separate space for Infants ages 3 months to 1 year.
  • There will be structured activities for children to participate in, as well as time and places for free play.
  • The Casco Bay Y will offer synchronized programming so parents can participate in an aerobics class while their child is participating in a youth program.
  • Parents are welcome to stay and play with their children!
  • The Family Prime Time Staff will escort your child to a swim lesson if necessary, all you have to do is ask!
  • If you have a Family or Single Adult with Family membership, you can participate in Family Prime.
  • You can drop in any time you like for up to 2 hours… NO reservation needed!
