Wellness

We have a state-of-the-art fitness center equipped with Cybex weight machines, free weights, and a variety of cardiovascular machines linked by FitLinxx (a computerized network which stores your Wellness Center progress). Appointments can be made with a Fitness Instructor for individualized programs which will then be entered into the FitLinxx System (for an aditional fee)*.

*There is a $25 set up fee for FitLinxx; $5/month service fee.

Excercise Support Program (E.S.P.)

The ESP program at the Casco Bay YMCA is a new look at personal training, designed for individuals or groups of up to four people. E.S.P participants are given one-on-one guidance by experienced fitness specialists through three areas, cardio vascular training, resistance training, and FitLinxx - an integrated virtual fitness network that will track everything you do while working out. This program is ideal for individuals who are need the additional motivation and encouragement to keep their exercise schedules on track, for those who exercise regularly but have reached a plateau or have become bored with their routines, as well as those living with or recovering from an injury or illness. YMCA fitness specialists will work with your physician and/or physical therapist to design a training program that works best for you.

Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Casco Bay YMCA offers a 10 week program for people who have successfully completed Phase III and have recieved medical clearance from a physician. The goal of this program is to enable anyone with an existing heart condition to return to a healthy lifestyle. More Info.
